working time window:

on the table below, and at the top of each service's page, you will see the approximated time it will take for me to complete. the initial time frame is my usual working time, but due to life factors, please give me up until my maximum time stated. i will make sure to have open communication about my progress.

payment:

the initial cost will be 50%. the rest will be paid upon delivery. payment may be made through venmo, paypal, cash app, or ko-fi. paying through ko-fi is most preferred. all payments will be in $USD.

my pricing is the way it is because of the quality i strive for.

when it comes to creating english versions, i aim to maintain the meaning, feeling, flow, and sound of the original. I try to keep the same amount of syllables and aim to closely reflect or match the vowel and consonants. my goal is to make lyrics that feel like an original rather than a translated cover.

when it comes to original lyrics (as well as english versions), i try to make sure there is a story told and emotions conveyed.

if you want to offer a trade in services, don't be afraid to ask! i'm open to it!

discounts, refunds, & cancellations policy:

in the event that i cannot complete your request within my working window (eg. 1 week max for english lyrics), i will subtract a discount on the remaining amount of the order by a percentage relevant to how much longer i will need to deliver.

if i fail to deliver any service or inform you that I am unable to do your request after having started, I will give you a full refund.

if you choose to cancel your request at any time before near-completion, your initial payment will not be refunded, but the remaining will not be due.

if you choose to cancel your request during or after near-completion, the entire payment will be due as i had followed through on my end.

you, the buyer, agree to communicate any discrepancies or dispute within the working window. failure to do so will negate any refund.

if you want to have harmonies included with this service, please refer to the pricing and guidelines of my harmonies service.

for uploads on youtube, i must be credited in both the description (i will provide you with the links) and in the video graphics (just 'lyrics by mochajay' either for the whole video if graphics are stationary or for a certain duration of time thats prominent enough to read).

for original song distribution on streaming platforms like apple music and spotify, i must be credited as a writer if i participate in writing lyrics.

if I write the lyrics or topline the original song that is monetized, i will get 20% of the earnings in addition to being credited as a write.

in addition to our collaboration, up to five (5) revisions are allowed. you cannot change my lyrics without my permission or collaboration between us.

please provide me with the audio files in wav or mp3. IF this is a cover in an alternate perspective, please also provide me with the original audio. the acapella would also be greatly appreciated but not necessary.

pricing will be as follows:

rush pricing:

+$3 for each feedback rush

+$10 for alt pov rush

+$20 for cowrite rush

+$30 for topline rush

++$5 for any sudden rush request within my working window

(eg. if you order a cowrite rush the price will be $30+$20, totaling $50. if you order a cowrite and after 2 days, you want it to be ready within 24 hours, the price will be $30+$20+$5, totaling $55.)

i can record harmonies and send as individual tracks for either use as a guide to record with or for the cover itself, but i need to know which one up front.

credit me with my proper links (i will give them to you) in the description. 'harmonies by mochajay' can be on video graphics if my voice is used in your song, but this is not necessary.

i can record additional harmonies or background vocals that are not present in the original upon request. this costs an additional $5 per minute of the song (eg. for a 3 minute song, if you want me to add harmonies/bgv to only one verse, chorus, or bridge, that will be $5 on top of your order. if you want me to add original harmonies to the entire song, that will be an additional $15). this cost can be added to the base harmony price, meaning if you want me to record you a harmony guide AND make original harmonies, it will be $12-17 depending on how many original harmonies you ask for. if you want to use my voice for the original harmonies, that will be $15-25.

i tend to go all out when it comes to harmonies. i enjoy a full sounding song, so I like to add layers on layers of harmonies. if you would like me to record extra doubles or alls, i can.

if you ONLY want me to make original harmonies and/or background vocals for your song (original or cover) as a guide, that will cost $5/minute. for use in your song, it will be $8/minute.

i will always tune and time my own vocals.

let me know if you want me to export files in wav or mp3.

please provide me with the original audio, acapella, and instrumental audio files in wav or mp3.

the daw i use is garageband for my music. i will time using this.

i use melodyne 5 editor for tuning.

i sometimes use audacity for other tasks, such as noise reduction, if needed.

i can roughly clean the audio if requested only as an addition to tuning and/or timing. this is not my specialty, but i am able to reduce a bit of the background noise and unwanted and audible cracks, pops, or clicks in recordings. if the audio is too difficult for my cleaning abilities, i will not charge you for my attempt.

if you notice something is not timed/tuned right (mistakes can happen!), the first revision will be free, any further revisions will be +$1.

let me know if your files are roughly timed already or not.

if you only want me to tune and your lines are already roughly timed, i can precisely time them for +$4 per line upon request.

if you want me to tune lines that are nowhere near timed, i will charge you full price for both timing and tuning because i need lines timed in order to tune.

let me know if you want me to export the finished audio files in wav or mp3.

due to limited storage space on my end, i will be deleting the files five (5) days after confirming they have been delivered and transferred to you.

please provide me with the original audio, acapella, and instrumental audio files in wav or mp3, in addition to the correct lyrics or CCL document for collabs.

video editing is not my specialty, so i do not do complex edits. i will time graphics and lyrics according to the provided audio. i use capcut for video editing and canva (sometimes photoshop) for making graphics.

i can try to do something more complex if requested (i like learning!), but this will have to be discussed first and will cost more if i am able to do it.

let me know if your video will be for youtube or social media (instagram post, reels, tiktok, etc.). if you want videos made for BOTH, I will charge you in full for the youtube video (+add-ons) and give a discount on the social media video.

credit me using the links i provide in the description. if you tend to put credits on your graphics, please credit me there, as well.

please provide me with the following when applicable: graphics, final mix (wav or mp3), lyric document or link, color coded document if there are multiple people in the song, and music/performance video in mp4 format.
